Stephanie Brough

Stephanie Brough, originally from Broughty Ferry, studied at the RSAMD and graduated with a bachelor's degree in music performance with honours and a post graduate diploma in music performance. Stephanie studied with Jerre Gibson, Tony Moffat and after college with Simon Fischer in London.


While studying at the RSAMD Stephanie won prizes including an entrance scholarship, the Concerto prize, Governor’s chamber music prize, and duo prizes.


After graduating Stephanie began freelancing with The Orchestra of Scottish Opera and has subsequently also worked with the RSNO, BBC SSO, Scottish Ballet orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, Scottish Concert and Festival orchestras.


Concert work has included playing for the likes of Rod Stewart and Michael Bublé and TV work has recently included playing for an Amazon series.


A keen teacher, Stephanie teaches in Dundee, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow Gaelic school and Hutchesons' Grammar School.


Stephanie has twice been a participant at the Starling Delay Teaching Symposiums held at the Juilliard School in New York.
