About Us

The Belford String Quartet is a collective of Scotland's finest freelance string players, ensuring a high level of professionalism for each and every event.

Our musicians have studied at many of the world's leading conservatoires including The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Royal College of Music (London), the Royal Academy of Music (Stockholm) and The Juilliard School amongst others.

Alongside performing with all of the Scottish orchestras, our musicians enjoy regular session work in theatre, film/TV as well as performing with pop/rock/dance/musical theatre stars in live shows around the world.
